WORDS OF SALVATION ----  GOSPEL MESSAGE

Below are just a few passages from the Gospel Message......passages that we can safely put our foot upon in our homeward journey.  The Bible is rich with information, and we are encouraged to study it, always asking the Holy Spirit to clarify our understanding.  The Bible has been edited by man, but the truth is there...... kept safe by the Holy Spirit.

John 10: (14-18)

"I m the good shepherd; and I know My sheep, and am known by My own.  As the Father knows Me, even so I know the Father; and I lay down My life for the sheep.  And other sheep I have which are not of this fold; them also I must bring, and they will hear My voice; and there will be one flock and one shepherd.  Therefore My Father loves Me, because I lay down My life that I may take it again.  No one takes it from Me, but I lay it down of Myself.  I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again.  This command I have received from My Father."

If you can hear the Shepherd's voice, than He is speaking to you and you are one of His sheep.  Follow Him.

John 10: (27-30)

"My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.  And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand.  My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of My Father's hand.  I and My Father are one."

Accept Christ's love, magnify it, share it, and return it.

1st John 4: (7-19)

"Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God.  He who does not love does not know God, for God is love.  In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him.  In this is love, not that we loved God but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins.  Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.  No one has seen God at any time.  If we love one another, God abides in us and His love has been perfected in us.  By this we know that we abide in Him, and He in us, because He has given us of His Spirit.  And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent the Son  as Yeshua (Savior) of the world.  Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God.  And we have known and believed the love that God has for us.  God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God, and God in him.  Love has been perfected among us in this: that we may have boldness in the day of judgment; because as He is, so are we in this world.  There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment.  But he who fears has not been made perfect in love.  We love Him because He first loved us."

Yeshua made provision for us by being a forever sacrifice for those who believe upon Him, that they might be redeemed to eternal life within the Father.

When God gave us the 10 Commandments, and The Lord's Prayer, the Word of Salvation via the Gospel Message, through Jesus Christ, and the Gift of the Holy Spirit when we accept Christ as our Head....Our Lord......He pretty much gave us all we need to live our temporary lives here on earth.  Of added value, as warnings, we were given the prophets in the Old Testament which were given prophecy that covered our time and beyond.   Mankind..... throughout the ages since God revealed Himself to them....has strived for personal power and gain, making something complicated out of that which is simple and pure....faith in Jesus Christ....the only door to eternity because He was worthy to pay the price.  There is no church on earth today which has a door that can offer what Christ did....alone....on the cross.  Man is constantly trying to take his piece of glory for himself....put himself as something important in the midst of the door to salvation.

That mankind believes that they can define God is the pinnacle of arrogance....and the antithesis of meek and humble.   It is enough for me that God has defined who I am (a lost dead sinner), and has provided a Sacrificial Lamb (Jesus Christ) to provide the means and the focus for my eternal life and personal homeward  journey of redemption and self discovery within God.  All glory belongs to God.

The first Believers did not even have the Bible....they had the words of the prophets as recorded and placed in their gathering places, and as heard via family memorizations....and the words of Jesus Christ as heard in person, and as recorded by His Apostles, and spread by word of mouth.   After Christ was sacrificed they also had direct access to the Holy Spirit and the words the Apostles wrote down, inspired of God. In time many of these words were put together in the Bible.....not all the words written were included....but enough.....because we truly have The Holy Spirit within us as our teacher.

In hard times to come.....if I am unable to gather together with others (church)....I will still have my Bible.  If I lose my Bible....I will still have the Holy Spirit....and that wonderful Gift....I will never lose!!!!   It is my Leader, my Teacher, and my Guide.  It will bring me back home, an eternity in harmony, enjoyment and service to my Father.  In the mean time....wherever I am, the presence of the Holy Spirit will be there also, I can worship, I can learn of, I can serve, and I can love YHWH, thanks to my faith in Jesus Christ.  There is no higher authority here on earth than the Holy Spirit.  All who have that Holy Spirit have that authority and can be used by God to accomplish anything that God needs to be done....if they have submitted their will entirely to be under His.

Humans will continue to try to define God, argue amongst themselves which earthly made church saves, try to place themselves between us and our Lord.....right up to and through the trumpet period as revealed in Revelations.  Put your trust in no man, as only the Lord, Jesus Christ can keep us from temptation and deliver us from Evil.

Psalms 118:8  It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man.

2 Corinthians 1:9  But we had the sentence of death in ourselves, that we should not trust in ourselves, but in God which raiseth the dead.

Psalms 37:3  Trust in the LORD, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed.

GRACE

in

His Sight!

So many christians read the books of man's understandings on what they ought to believe, and based on those readings they condemn and are critical of other Christians.  It is really very, very simple...so simple a child could understand it at age 5.  "IT"as used, below,  being the doctrine that is being condemned with negative words or thoughts of one christian to another.....just as the Pharisees condemned Jesus...because His Truth contrasted with their traditional leaning upon man's understandings of "perfect" faith.

1.  Does it point to any other Way to Salvation and Life Eternal other than through belief in Jesus Christ's Payment  on the Cross?
Romans 5:21=That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.     Romans 5:17=For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.)

2.  Does it go against the 10 Commandments?

Psalm 84:11=For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.

3.  Does it express any other desire than what is in the Lord's Prayer, or is contrary to the Lord's Prayer?
Matthew, Chapter 6:The words of The Lord's Prayer perfectly positions where mankind should be in relation to God, and what he should be praying for within his heart.  Psalms 37:3  Trust in the LORD, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed.

All three of the above were given by GOD.....not man.  Solid Foundations to stand upon, and to build upon...but not all the houses built must be identical, if they are built upon these foundations, in order to be accepted by God!  Does the house you live in look exactly like your neighbors?

It is not worth discussing and it demeans the one doing the discussing if what you are criticizing does not violate any of the above.  That condemning discussion, in fact,  violates the rule of "Grace".  Should we cast down what God approves?

God has a pattern for the growth of a tree, for example....to bring it to it's glory.  Do all trees look alike?  Are we to condemn those who do not look the same as ours?  Should we step in with our pruning shears and such and try to make all trees conform to one image (as is the custom of man)?  If they are God's trees, growing according to the pattern that God gave us (the three things mentioned above) they are in God's Will and will do just fine.  Look around....did God create only one type of animal, one type of tree, one type of anything?  If they are not part of that 3 step Pattern mentioned above, they are tares, planted by the dragon....and God will deal with them...and we should separate ourselves from them.

As Christians, on the other hand, we are commanded to stand up and witness to those who do fall outside of the three things mentioned above.....unto death if necessary.  How many Christians grasp that aspect of their faith.....the really serious side of their faith?  But do not hesitate to spend their time finding shortcomings (according to man's understandings) with other trees in God's Garden?

ACCEPTING SALVATION THROUGH JESUS CHRIST--The Gospel

1st Corinthians 15:1-4  We are saved by the gospel, that word which is: ...that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures.

John 3:15-16  That whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life.  For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

In John 14: 12-17  Jesus said in relationship to those who believed in Him;  "And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever."  The Spirit of truth, The Helper, The Holy Spirit.

Acts 2:38  Then Peter said to them, "Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.  (Any Christian can baptize a new Believer...does not have to be the Pope, or an ordained minister.  In Christ's day other Christians baptized new Believers.  Baptism is a public statement that one has accepted Christ, it is symbolic of a new birth in Christ.  I would suspect that one could baptize themselves in a pinch.  The thief on the cross that Jesus spoke to before dying was told by Jesus that he would be with Jesus in paradise because the thief expressed to Jesus that he believed.  The thief was never baptized....of course he did not have the opportunity because he was dying on a cross next to Jesus at about the same time.  Baptism should not be a work of salvation, but something we do to honor Christ's gift to us on the cross.  It is not the baptism that saves us.....it is our true belief in Jesus Christ, and wanting Him to be our Lord and Savior....wanting His will over and above ours.....and loving Him enough to desire these things.)

Romans 10: 9-10  ...if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.

RESULTS OF SALVATION

1st Corinthians 16-17  Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?  If anyone defiles the temple of God, God will destroy him.  For the temple of God is holy, which temple you are.

Romans 9:32-33  Israel pursued the law of righteousness but did not attain it because they pursued it by works, not by faith.

Galatians 5: 22  .... the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control.  Against such there is no law.

Ephesians 4: 30-32  And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.  Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, and evil speaking be put away from you, with all malice.  And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God in Christ also forgave you.

 * * * * * * * * * * * *

These fruits and evidence of the work of The Holy Spirit within us do not all come at once.  It can take a lifetime and we may not be able to manifest them perfectly.  It is our desire to be these ways, our hope, and our striving to be such.  We all fail…and that is what Christ's sacrifice was about.  We repent for our failure and we try to do better.  The process is endless, but we do grow, some faster and some slower than others.  As long as we are running the race towards the goal, going forward, not standing stagnant we will win the race.  If we are running the race when the time of our passing or the time of transfiguration occurs, our lack of perfection will not prevent us from receiving the gifts of God…..as long as we are truly sorry when we measure short, and are continuing over and over to try to be as God wills us….not as we will ourselves.  God sees our hearts….what we desire…and if we desire Him with our hearts, He will make us His.

Psalms: 139:23-Search me O God, and know my heart; test my thoughts. Point out anything you find in me that makes you sad, and lead me along the path of everlasting life.

Matthew 3:16

Then Jesus, when He had been baptized, came up immediately from the water; and behold, the heavens were opened to Him, and He saw the Spirit of God descending in bodily form like a dove and alighting upon Him.  And suddenly a voice came from heaven, saying, "You are My

beloved Son; in You I am well pleased."

Acts 1: (4-11)

And being assembled together with them, He (Jesus, after being resurrected) commanded them not to depart from Jerusalem, but to wait for the Promise of the Father, "which," He said, "you have heard from Me;  "for John truly baptized with water, but you shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now."  Therefore, when they had come together they asked Him, saying, "Lord, will You at this time restore the kingdom to Israel?"  And He said to them, "It is not for you to know times or seasons which the Father has put in His own authority.  But you  shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth."  (As we are all supposed to witness of Him til the end of earth.)  Now when He had spoken these things, while they watched, He was taken up, and a cloud received Him out of their sight.  And while they looked steadfastly toward heaven as He went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel, who also said, "Men of Galilee, why do you stand gazing up into heaven?  This same Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will so come in like manner as you saw Him go into heaven."

1st Peter: 16-21

For we did not follow cunningly devised fables when we made known to you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eye witnesses of His majesty.  For He received from God the Father honor and glory when such a voice came to Him from the "Excellent Glory: "This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased."  And we heard this voice which came from heaven when we were with Him on the holy mountain.  We also have the prophetic word made more sure, which you do well to heed as a light that shines in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts;  knowing this first, that no prophecy of Scripture is of any private interpretation, for prophecy never came by the will of man, but holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit.

1st John: 3:24, 4: (1-6)

3:24  Now he who keeps His commandments abides in Him, and He in him.  And by this we know that He abides in us, by the Spirit who He has given us. 4: (1-6) Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world.  By this you know the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God, and every spirit that does not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God.  And this is the spirit of the antichrist, which you have heard was coming, and is now already in the world.  You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.  They are of the world.  Therefore they speak as of the world, and the world hears them.  We are of God.  He who knows God hears us; he who is not of God does not hear us.  By this we know the spirit of truth and the spirit of error.

1 Corinthians: 2: (6-10)

However, we speak wisdom among those who are mature, yet not the wisdom of this age, nor of the rulers of this age, who are coming to nothing.  But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, the hidden wisdom which God ordained before the ages for our glory, which none of the rulers of this age knew; for had they known, they would not have crucified the Lord of Glory.  But as it is written:  "Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him."  But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit.  For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God.

(The Shepard, Our Savior, the Lamb, Our Redeemer, Our Lord, Our King)

Psalm 23: (1-6)

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.  He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters.  He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness for His name's sake.  Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil;  for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.  You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; My cup runs over.  Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; and I will dwell in the house of the Lord Forever.

Isaiah 40: (10-14)

Behold, the Lord God shall come with a strong hand, and His arm shall rule for Him; Behold, His reward is with Him, and His work before him.  He will feed His flock like a shepherd;  He will gather the lambs with His arm, and carry them in His bosom, and gently lead those who are with young.  Who has measured the waters in the hollow of his hand, measured heaven with a span and calculated the dust of the earth in a measure?  Weighed the mountains in scales and the hills in a balance?  Who has directed the Spirit of the Lord, or as His counselor, has taught Him?  With whom did He take counsel, and who instructed Him, and taught Him in the path of justice?  Who taught Him knowledge, and showed Him the way of understanding?

Isaiah 40: 4

"Who has performed and done it, calling the generations from the beginning?   'I, the Lord, am the first; and with the last I am He.' " (Alpha and Omega)

John 10: (7-11)

Then Jesus said to them again, "Most assuredly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep.  All who ever came before me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not hear them.  I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture.  The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy.  (If a church authorizes killing, destruction and theft,..especially of Believers, perhaps one would wonder if this church was headed by satan.)  I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.  I am the good shepherd.  The good shepherd gives His life for the sheep.

Revelation 7: (9-17)

After these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude which no one could number, of all nations, tribes, peoples, and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, with palm branches in their hands, and crying out with a loud voice, saying, "Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!"  And all the angels stood around the throne and the elders and the four living creatures, and fell on their faces before the throne and worshiped God, saying; "Amen!  Blessing and glory and wisdom, thanksgiving and honor and power and might, be to our God forever and ever.  Amen."  Then one of the elders answered, saying to me, "Who are these arrayed in white robes, and where did they come from?"  And I said to him, "Sir, you know."  So he said to me, "These are the ones who come out of the great tribulation, and washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the lamb.  Therefore they are before the throne of God, and serve Him day and night in His temple.  And He who sits on the throne will dwell among them.  They shall neither hunger anymore nor thirst anymore; the sun shall not strike them, nor any heat; for the Lamb who is in the midst of the throne will shepherd them and lead them to living fountains of waters.  And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes."

Ephesians 2: (14-22)

For He Himself is our peace, who has made both one, and has broken down the middle wall of division between us, having abolished in His flesh the enmity, that is, the law of commandments contained in ordinances, so as to create in Himself one new man from the two, thus making peace, and that He might reconcile them both to God in one body through the cross, thereby putting to death the enmity.  And He came and preached peace to you who were afar off and to those who were near.  For through Him we both have access by one Spirit to the Father.  Now, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief cornerstone, in whom the whole building, being joined together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord, in whom you also are being built together for a habitation of God in the Spirit.

Ephesians 3: (3-7), ….how that by revelation He made known to me the mystery (as I wrote before in a few words, by which, when you read, you may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ), which in other ages was not made known to the sons of men, as it has now been revealed by the Spirit to His holy apostles and prophets; that the Gentiles should be fellow heirs, of the same body, and partakers of His promise in Christ through the gospel, of which I became a minister according to the gift of the grace of God given to me by the effective working of His power.  (9-12) …and to make all people see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the ages has been hidden in God who created all things through Jesus Christ; to the intent that now the manifold wisdom of God might be made known by the church to the principalities and powers in the heavenly places, according to the eternal purpose which He accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord in whom we have boldness and access with confidence through faith in Him.

Ephesians 3: (14-21)

For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height…to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.  Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end.  Amen

1st John 4: (7-19)

Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent the Son as Savior of the world. We love Him because He first loved us.

1st John: 5: (7- 8), (10-13)

For there are three who bear witness in heaven: the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit; and these three are one.  And there are three that bear witness on earth: the Spirit, the water, and the blood; and these three agree as one.  (10-13) He who believes in the Son of God has the witness in himself; he who does not believe God has made Him a liar, because he has not believed the testimony that God has given of His Son.  And this is the testimony: that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son.  He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life.  These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may continue to believe in the name of the Son of God.

Revelation 5: (5-6)

But one of the elders said to me, "Do not weep.  Behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the root of David, has prevailed to open the scroll and to loose its seven seals."  And I looked, and behold, in the midst of the throne and of the four living creatures, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as though it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent out into all the earth.

HOSEA 2:18=And in that day will I make a covenant for them with the beasts of the field and with the fowls of heaven, and with the creeping things of the ground: and I will break the bow and the sword and the battle out of the earth, and will make them to lie down safely.  19=And I will betroth thee unto me for ever; yea, I will betroth thee unto me in righteousness, and in judgment, and in lovingkindness, and in mercies.  20=I will even betroth thee unto me in faithfulness: and thou shalt know the LORD.  21=And it shall come to pass in that day, I will hear, saith the LORD, I will hear the heavens, and they shall hear the earth;  22=And the earth shall hear the corn, and the wine, and the oil; and they shall hear Jezreel.

Return to CHRIST'S GLORIOUS TASK
